A generous donation to support road safety
Amber Community would like to thank Mark Lane and the team at Murcotts Driving Excellence for their incredible generosity in donating 20 places for our staff and volunteers to attend their Defensive Driving Program Level 1. This training day was hosted by Mark Lane, Managing Director of Murcotts, at the iconic Sandown Raceway.
The program blended classroom learning with hands-on driving exercises, giving participants a safe, controlled environment to learn practical and useful skills to keep us safer on the roads.
A day of learning and confidence-building
The course was an eye-opener for our team, providing practical, easy-to-implement strategies that could make a real difference on the road. The facilitators made everyone comfortable, answering every question—big or small—with patience and expertise.
Using our own vehicles meant that participants felt comfortable with a familiar vehicle and could better understand the unique handling of their cars in various driving situations.
